To request from the Archdiocese of Milan a relic of saints or blesseds whose remains, clothing, or other memorabilia are preserved, it is necessary to send an email to the following addressreliquie@diocesi.milano.it

The email must include, as an attachment, a scanned copy of a letter of support from the Parish Priest or the Superior of the Religious House, written on official letterhead, bearing a handwritten signature and official stamp.

Relics usually granted are pieces of clothing, or cloths or ribbons that have wrapped the body or its remains. Relics of the body are granted only upon request of the Diocesan Bishop or the Provincial Superior, for the consecration of a new altar or for public veneration.

Relics are never sold. However, reimbursement is requested for shipping expenses and other possible costs, such as the preparation of the reliquary.
