non posso tacere una domanda. Mi rivolgo ai dirigenti, agli allenatori, agli atleti, ai genitori dei giovani atleti, agli educatori, ai responsabili delle strutture, ai preti. Ecco la domanda: come va l\u2019impresa di trasformare la citt\u00e0 nel villaggio olimpico per Milano Cortina 2026? State facendo la vostra parte? Avete capito che avete un compito per sognare e dare forma al villaggio? Friendship<\/em> comincia con lo sguardo. Quando guardi gli altri, che cosa vedi? Chi ha il cuore triste, vede estranei. Chi ha il cuore arrabbiato, vede avversari, nemici. Chi ha il cuore superbo, guarda con disprezzo. \u00c8 necessario un cuore puro, semplice, lieto per lo \u201csguardo-friendship<\/em>\u201d. Chi ha il cuore puro, infatti, vede persone che possono diventare amici, vede adulti che possono diventare un esempio, vede sconosciuti che meritano di essere conosciuti: hanno certo qualche cosa da dirmi, un messaggio per me.<\/p>\n Friendship <\/em>parla con le mani. \u00c8 necessario un cuore puro per la \u201cmano-friendship\u201d<\/em>. La mano stringe la mano dell\u2019avversario all\u2019inizio della gara, la mano batte il cinque dell\u2019esultanza con i compagni di squadra per il risultato brillante, la mano \u00e8 tesa all\u2019avversario per chiedere scusa del fallo involontario, per rialzarlo dalla caduta, per dare una pacca di incoraggiamento quando \u00e8 stato sconfitto, le mani applaudono l\u2019impresa riuscita senza invidia, gustando il bel punto.<\/p>\n Friendship <\/em>\u00e8 un modo di camminare, di correre, di stare fermi. \u00c8 un passo. \u00c8 necessario un cuore puro per il \u201cpasso-friendship\u201d.<\/em> \u00c8 il passo veloce della corsa per vincere: \u00e8 bello vincere e arrivare per primo, migliorare il tempo, dare gioia alla squadra, soddisfazione all\u2019allenatore, motivo di esultanza ai genitori che fanno il tifo. Anche con la corsa si pu\u00f2 far contenta la gente. Il \u201cpasso-friendship\u201d<\/em> \u00e8 il passo che si adatta all\u2019atleta che si \u00e8 fatto male e lo accompagna ai bordi del campo, facendogli coraggio; \u00e8 il passo che si ferma con chi non pu\u00f2 camminare, che spinge la carrozzina dello spettatore speciale.<\/p>\n Friendship <\/em>\u00e8 la lingua dei migliori. Chi ha il cuore triste si esprime con parole grigie.<\/p>\n \u00c8 necessario un cuore puro per la \u201clingua-friendship\u201d.<\/em> \u00c8 la lingua delle domande che desidera la conoscenza e offre amicizia alle persone che si incontrano per la prima volta; \u00e8 la lingua che sorride per dare il benvenuto e per congedarsi dopo la gara; \u00e8 la lingua che fa compagnia a chi \u00e8 rimasto ai bordi del campo, forse troppo triste, forse troppo solo; \u00e8 la lingua che chiede scusa; \u00e8 la lingua che calma chi \u00e8 troppo arrabbiato.<\/p>\n Dunque diamoci da fare: Milano Cortina 2026 \u00e8 vicina. Are you doing your part? Do you understand that you have a role \u2013 to dream and help shape the village?<\/p>\n Public authorities have their duty: to prepare the facilities, to promote participation.<\/p>\n But it is up to you to cultivate the \u201cOlympic spirit.\u201d How is a village \u2013 the Olympic village \u2013 built?<\/p>\n I urge you to follow the path of fraternity, solidarity, and friendship \u2013 a path we call simply friendship<\/i><\/em>.<\/p>\n Friendship<\/i><\/em>\u00a0begins with the eyes. When you look at others, what do you see? Those with an angry heart see rivals. Those with a proud heart see only contempt. But a pure, simple, and content heart sees the \u201cfriendship gaze<\/i><\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n A pure heart sees people who can become friends; adults who can become role models; strangers who deserve to be known, for they surely have something to share \u2013 a message for me.<\/p>\n Friendship<\/i><\/em>\u00a0speaks with its hands. It shakes the hand of an opponent \u00a0at the beginning of the race; gives a high five to the teammates for the excellent result; reaches out to a rival to say sorry for an accidental foul, for help them rise after a fallout to support them in defeat; it \u00a0claps in celebration without envy, savouring the joy of shared achievement.<\/p>\n Friendship<\/i><\/em>\u00a0is a way of moving \u2013 walking, running, standing still. It is a pace. A pure heart is needed for the \u201cfriendship pace<\/i><\/em>\u201d. It is the swift pace of the race, striving to win: it is a beautiful thing to win and arrive first, to improve one’s time, to bring joy to the team, satisfaction to the coach, and a reason to celebrate for the parents who are cheering you on. Running could also be a way to make people happy. The \u201cfriendship pace<\/i><\/em>\u201d slows for the injured athlete, following them off the field to support them; it is the pace that stops with someone unable to walk, it is the pace that guides the special supporter wheelchair.<\/p>\n Friendship<\/i><\/em>\u00a0is the language of the best among us. Those with a sad heart speak with grey words.<\/p>\n A pure heart is needed for the \u201cfriendship language<\/i><\/em>\u201d. It is the language of curiosity; of welcoming strangers of smiling to greet after a race; it is the language accompaniment for those left behind, perhaps unhappy, or alone; it is the language that says sorry, and calms anger.<\/p>\n So, let us commit ourselves: Milano Cortina 2026 is near.
